**I received a product in exchange for my review, but all opinions are my own. I've been hearing a lot about hair mineral analysis lately, especially while trying to heal from Lyme Disease, and really wanted to get one done to find out if I'm deficient in any minerals and/or toxic in heavy metals. A lot of people are, and this can lead to health issues. I came across AmAlt Health Labs, and decided to submit a sample of my hair for analysis. They make the process very easy and simple. You get a welcome box with all you need to submit your sample and then results are available for viewing online. I also learned a lot from their website, like that fact that when minerals are balanced, a lot of health issues can be resolved. As someone who struggles with Lyme disease, I've been hearing this in multiple places, and it's actually very encouraging that mineral balance may be able to help on top of the herbs and natural products I'm using. Also, in the world we live in, toxic metals are almost unavoidable and can accumulate in your body. This can lead to an increase in health conditions. Collecting and sending the sample was easy and didn't take too long. You just collect about a tablespoon of hair closest to the scalp (only an inch worth if you have long hair) and place in the bag. This sample results page show what they test for, and how the results will be displayed. It shows the elements, whether or not they are toxic or potentially toxic, and whether your results are in normal range or out of range. They test over 60 minerals and toxic metals. The results are straight forward and easy to read. I like how they use the different colors to help visually show what is out of range. Once they received my sample, it didn't take long to get the results. I'd highly recommend this company. To read more about them and the Hair Mineral Analysis, you can check out their website here. Ordering is easy as well, you simply order online and your starter kit will be on it's way. I'd love to hear comments below - has anyone done a Hair Mineral Analysis and what was your experience with it?
