What are WaterWipes and Why You Should Consider Them

As a new parent, there are countless decisions to make about what products to use on your baby. One of the most important choices is what type of baby wipes to use. While there are many different types of baby wipes on the market, not all of them are created equal. Pure baby wipes, such as WaterWipes, are a great choice for parents who want to protect their baby's delicate skin and avoid harsh chemicals.

What are Pure Baby Wipes?
Pure baby wipes are wipes that are made without harsh chemicals, fragrances, or other potentially harmful ingredients. Instead, they are made with gentle, natural ingredients that are safe for even the most sensitive skin. WaterWipes, for example, are made with 99.9% water and a drop of fruit extract, making them the purest baby wipes on the market.

Picture
Why Choose Pure Baby Wipes?
There are several reasons why parents should consider using pure baby wipes like WaterWipes:

1. Gentle on Baby's SkinNewborn skin is delicate and sensitive, and using harsh chemicals or fragrances can cause irritation, rashes, or other skin issues. Pure baby wipes are free from these harmful ingredients, making them safe and gentle for even the most sensitive skin.

2. Safe for the Environment
Many traditional baby wipes are made with synthetic materials that are not biodegradable and can harm the environment. Pure baby wipes like WaterWipes are made with natural materials that break down easily and are safe for the environment.

3. Chemical-FreeTraditional baby wipes can contain harsh chemicals like alcohol, chlorine, and parabens, which can be harmful to your baby's skin and overall health. Pure baby wipes are made without these chemicals, making them a safer and healthier option for your little one.

4. VersatilePure baby wipes are not only great for diaper changes, but they can also be used for wiping hands and faces, cleaning up spills, and more. Having a multi-purpose product like WaterWipes can be a lifesaver for busy parents on the go.

Overall, using pure baby wipes like WaterWipes can provide peace of mind for new parents who want to protect their baby's delicate skin and avoid harsh chemicals. By choosing a product made with natural, safe ingredients, you can ensure that your baby is getting the best possible care.

I have been using Seeking Health's Prenatal Protein Powder for over a year now, and I can't wait to share with you guys some ways I have benefited from such a high quality vitamin supplement. As many of you know from some of my previous posts, I struggled after my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies with severe postpartum anxiety.  I believe a big piece of the puzzle for me has been nutrient deficiencies.  One of the biggest benefits I've noticed from being on Seeking Health's Prenatal is that after my 4th was born in July, I have not had any anxiety, which is such a huge blessing.  I truly believe the methylated B vitamins made the difference for me, and I am going to continue taking it because of the benefits I get from it.
Picture
Also, my 3rd baby was failure to thrive (and he was breastfed), and this time around my son is in the 97%+ for weight, height and head circumference.  Now of course there's no way for me to prove it was the vitamins, but it's the only thing I've done differently.  Again, I think because he's getting the quality nutrients he needs, through me getting the nutrients I need, and it's made a world of difference.  Before I learned about Seeking Health I didn't know about the difference between synthetic vitamins (which I had always taken in the past) and the active forms of vitamins that our bodies can more easily process and utilize.  So I think I've probably been deficient, or at least low on key nutrients for many years.

If you prefer to take a pill or chewable prenatal as opposed to the protein powder, they have those options as well.  I've used all 3, because sometimes it's nice to have something smaller and easier to take when traveling, but I always prefer the protein powder (chocolate is my favorite, but the vanilla is good too!) and use it as my breakfast almost every morning.  I just mix it with water most days, but sometimes I'll make a smoothie and blend it with spinach, frozen berries and almond milk or water.  With 4 young kids, it's nice to have something quick and easy in the mornings.  It literally takes me less than 1-2 minutes.

I'm going to be sharing about more of their products with you guys in the future, because I truly believe in this brand and the quality you can expect from them.  Seeking Health has been so generous to offer my readers 10% off your order with code MOMMYLIFE10.

Peejamas Overnight Training Pants Review

3/1/2021

Picture
Out of my 3 potty trained kids (the fourth is 7 months so we haven't gotten there yet), 2 of them still have issues with bedwetting at night.  My oldest only needed pull-ups for a couple months, and then was completely night trained.  My now 7 and 5 year olds, however, are wet about 80% of the time in the mornings, so we have been searching for an alternative to pulls up.  Not only are pull ups expensive, but they absorb all moisture so don't really encourage kids to get up and go to the bathroom.

Which brings me to Peejamas.  They slowly absorb liquid, and not as much as pulls ups, which causes the child to feel the wetness and get up and go to the bathroom.  Peejamas can absorb roughly 3 pees a night for light to moderate pee-ers and can be washed 300+ times, making them the perfect stepping stone to overcoming nighttime potty training.
Picture
Picture
I was so excited for my kids to try these out, and have nothing but great things to say about this brand!  They're cheaper than buying pull ups.  They're eco friendly (no more throwing away 2 pull ups EVERY morning).  They're comfortable and not soaked in chemicals (fire retardant).  My kids love wearing them, and they are super cute.  The first time my kids tried them on, my 5 year old didn't want to take them off, he kept saying how soft they were.  I love the different prints they have.

Also, as you could imagine my 7 year old has been super self conscious about still being in pull ups.  She would hide them when getting dressed when we were staying with out of town family, and was very embarrassed for sleep overs.  With Peejamas, no one knows she has any sort of protection on, so it gives her so much more confidence.
Picture
Picture
After 1 night, both my kids got up to use the bathroom (they're both normally VERY heavy sleepers which I think is part of the problem), and they woke up with a minimal amount of wetness.  Night 2, my daughter woke up completely dry, my son only a little wet.  Night 3, both woke up dry! Guys, this is huge for my kids!  We've tried the alarms that go off when they get wet, sleeping in underwear (and changing sheets every morning), we've basically tried it all and this is the most success we've seen so far with any method.  I'm hoping it continues.  Regardless, I would highly recommend trying these whether you're just beginning to night train, or have been at it for a while.  It is worth the investment and will save you big time on the cost of disposable diapers.

Airthereal's New 2021 Air Purifier Review

1/28/2021

1 Comment

**I was provided a product in exchange for my review, but all opinions are my own.
Airthereal has a new Air Purifier for 2021 with a medical grade filter and UV-C sanitizer. I reviewed one of their purifiers in the past (you can read about the APH2030C here).  They were so generous to allow me to review another one for you guys, the AGH380, and I am seriously in love!  It has such a sleek modern look that will go well with any decor, and I love how it uses UV-C sanitation as well as the medical grade filter, so you know germs will not be circulating.
Picture
As far as features go, the AGH380 has some exciting new ones not previously on other purifiers.  The filter is a medical grade HEPA filter that removes 99.97% of airborne particles. This is great if you have allergies, pets, dust, etc. The Pre-Filter traps large particles, pet hair and dust and the Carbon Filter eliminates odors and VOCs.

The UV-C Sterilization uses high energy rays to neutralize viruses and bacteria.  With 4 young kids (2 in school), this is great to help with the spread of airborne germs when one gets sick.  We have 3 sharing a room, so usually if one is sick and coughing, it easily spreads throughout the room and infects the other.  But with a UV-C light, the purifier can kill the germs as it passes through.

The PM2.5 sensor can measure particles 30-1000+ times smaller than a human hair.

This purifier has an Auto Mode that will adjust the fan speed based on your current air quality.  If the air quality gets worse, the fan speed goes up. If the air quality is good, it will lower the speed.  This is also nice to be able to know what the air quality is in your house at any given time.
Picture
Picture
The AGH380 can completely clean and recirculate the air in the room every 7-20 minutes depending on the size of the room.  I love the Air Quality Indicator. If the number shows 0-12, you have fresh clean air.  13-35 means it's moderately healthy.  Anything over 36 is unhealthy.  When we first plugged it in, ours was 12.  After some time of having it running it lowered to 4, which shows how well it worked at purifying the air.

The fan noise is not too loud, unlike some other purifiers we've had before. In fact at the lowest setting you can barely hear it! I also like that it has a child lock function, up to 24 hour timer, and filter replacement notification.  Speaking of filters, they are super easy to replace, and only need to be replaced every 6-8 months.
Picture
To read more about the new Air Purifier and get one for yourself, check them out here.  They also have ozone generators and other Air Purifier options available.  I would highly recommend this company for their high quality and affordable options for cleaner air for your home.  Especially right now during a pandemic, clean air is a must!

Vanicream for Eczema

1/26/2021

**This post contains affiliate links.
All 4 of my kids have struggled with eczema at some point, and my 6 month old is currently dealing with it.  I have tried every cream, lotion, ointment, probiotics out there and nothing was working.  I'd heard about Vanicream and saw it on Amazon for only around $13, so thought why not? It has been a night and day difference! I had to share it in case there's anyone else out there looking to help manage the flare ups without constantly having to turn to topical steroids.
Picture
Picture
When you put it on it's very creamy and thick, and almost sticky, but it very quickly absorbs into your skin.  My sons eczema was about 90% better in 2 days.  If you know anyone out there struggling with eczema please share this with them! I wish I had known about it 11 years ago with my first.

It's free of all the things most lotions have that can be irritating like dyes, fragrances, lanolin, parabens, botanical extracts, etc.  It's recommended by a lot of dermatologists for atopic dermatitis (eczema) and other skin conditions.

Check it out here, and read the reviews as well.  It has helped so many, and hopefully can help you too.

Pollen Season Has Started + Airthereal Purifier Review

2/24/2020

*I was provided a product free of charge, but all opinions are my own.
Picture
My youngest son has recently started getting really puffy red eyes, sneezing all day, runny nose, your typical allergy symptoms.  The pollen counts are really high right now where we live.  Airthereal generously offered me their new air purifier to try out, and it's been amazing how much it's helping him having this in his room at night.
Picture
Airthereal Pure Morning APH2030C Air Purifier covers up to 315 sq. feet using a true HEPA air filter.  It filters out 99.7% of airborne particles .1 microns or larger (mold spores, bacteria, viruses, pollen, dust and more).  Their filters also have an activated carbon filter to remove smoke and VOC odors.  In a typical bedroom, the air will be completely circulated and cleaned within 19 minutes (over 3 times an hour).
Picture
Picture
You can see how that would definitely help those suffering from allergies.  Not only that, I feel like it's helping him sleep better (probably because he's not as stuffy).  I love how it operates fairly quietly, and also has a child safety lock so they can't change the settings.  Also, it's very lightweight so you can easily move it to a different room as needed.
Picture
Right now you can get this model for just $89.99, plus they offer free shipping on their site.  Also, the replacement filters are very affordable compared to other brands.

Kidlogger is a parental monitoring app you can download on your child's smart phone or tablet.  It's a very simple way to record their activity for peace of mind.  You can then see and monitor what they are doing to ensure they are only engaging in safe activities.

KidLogger lets you know:
  • how much time was spent on the device;
  • which apps were used;
  • which websites were visited;
  • with whom he or she communicated (phone, SMS, Skype, Facebook);
  • where they have been;
  • what photos taken;
  • and what they wrote to friends

The program will record accessed applications, documents, and files, and it also will log keystrokes and typed URLs.  It's impossible to keep our kids away from technology, and there's a lot of good that can come from them using technology, however, the peace of mind that comes from knowing what they're involved in on these devices is essential.

As you can see above, pricing is very reasonable, with a Free option available as well. They also have a Standard and Professional account so you can choose based on what your needs are.  Even the Professional account is very reasonable for all you are getting.  As you can see the app works on Windows, Mac and Android devices.

With the day and age we live in, unfortunately taking these measures with our kids is becoming more necessary.  The idea behind Kidogger.net is it's acting as a second pair of eyes helping to make sure  your kids are only participating in safe activities online.  If doing this could prevent some of the awful things happening to kids, then it is worth every penny.  Visit the Kidlogger.net website here to learn more and get your account set up today.
