*I was provided a free box in exchange for my review, but all opinions are my own. It's been a few years since I was pregnant with my 3rd, and I this time around I've discovered Oh Baby Boxes! I wish I had known about a box like this in previous pregnancies. It's essentially a subscription box filled with over $100 of healthy and fun products tailored to your due date, and they start at just $39.99 a month. (This month's value was over $150!!) You can sign up on a month by month basis or prepay up to 6 months at a time! And what an awesome baby gift idea for a mom to be! They also offer postpartum boxes for after birth. I'm so excited to share with you guys what I got in my box this month! Plus you can find links to each specific product below. Robe'n'hood "Mama" Robe $39 This adorable robe is so silky and comfortable, made of faux silk, and says "Mama". Perfect for a growing bump and lounging in comfort and style. Comrad Companion Compression Socks $28 I always tend to get swelling especially towards the end of pregnancy, so I'm so excited about these compression socks. These are breathable knee high socks that use true graduated compression to increase circulation for all day support. Sanctuary Sandalwod + Rose Quartz Essential Oil Reed Diffuser $25 This oil has a calming comforting scent that's also uplifting, just what you need in pregnancy. It's perfect for meditation or an aromatherapy session at home. Mother Mother Calm Aromastick Balance Inhaler $23 We all have those stressful moments, especially when pregnant, when you just need some calm/balance. The Aromastick inhaler comes with all pregnancy safe essential oils that help promote clarity and fight pregnancy brain. It's refillable, alcohol free, and delicately scented for sensitive noses. Mama Heart Pen - $15 This pen is gorgeous, and pregnancy brain is real! What a perfect way to jot down notes to help your memory. It writes beautifully and is lightweight. Therabox "Namaste" Silky Eye Shade $14.95 Sometimes getting a good night sleep when pregnant can be difficult. This silky eye shade is so gentle to your eyes helping you to drift off a little easier. I'm so excited to use this, as my husband likes to be on his phone late at night, so this way I can block out all that light. Broo Moods Connect Touch Screen Hand Cream $8 Dry skin is something I get normally, but even more so when pregnant. I am in love with this hand cream. It's hydrating, nourishing and healing, but not at all greasy and dries so quickly. It absorbs instantly and is made from Jasmine, Lime, Hops, Shea Butter and Butterfly Bush. I love the smell and how it's made with amino acids, vitamins and minerals to help nourish dry skin. As you can see, these boxes are packed full of amazing goodies to enjoy during pregnancy. I cannot recommend these boxes enough whether for yourself or as a gift. Go check them out at Oh Baby Boxes and get your subscription started!

Whether you're an adult trying to avoid that filling of a cavity (or 10), or you have a child with weak enamel and you're trying to save their teeth, don't loose hope! You can do this at home naturally. I have successfully healed my sons cavities with natural products, as have many others, and I'm here to share what worked for us. Step 1: Cell Salts The number one thing that has helped the most, is the use of homeopathic cell salts. I will list the ones below that we used, and why they help. Within a few days, my sons pain was drastically reduced, and with time, the dentist confirmed he no longer needed fillings. I believe this was what helped the most. Cell salts were discovered by Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schuessler, a German doctor, in the late 1800s. He discovered 12 mineral salts in the ash residue of human cells. He theorized that many diseases and maladies were actually caused by mineral imbalances within the body (a lack of these necessary minerals), and the body would be brought back into balance by using these cell salts over a period of time. These 12 minerals are essential to our bodies. They are given in homeopathic form and work at the cellular level (“cell” salts). They are absorbed by your mucous membranes and not the digestive system, which is often faulty and has trouble with absorption. Cell Salts #1 Calcarea Fluorica 6X Tablets
Cell Salts #2 Calc Phos 6X Tablets
Cell Salts #8 Magnesia Phosphorica 6X Tablets
Cell Salts #10 Natrum Phos 6X Tablets
Cell Salts #12 Silicea 6X Tablets
Step 2: Stop Using Fluoride All your life you've been taught fluoride is what helps prevent cavities. However, it is a powerful neurotoxin that causes more damage and does nothing to protect your teeth. Here are some remineralizing toothpaste options that will help to remineralize, decrease cavities, and prevent future decay. If you click on the name of the product it will take you to Amazon where you can read more about them and see customer reviews.
Step 3: Add in Cod Liver Oil It is recommended to get your nutrition from food, but since that is often difficult to do, the easy way to start is to use a cod liver oil supplement. The Vitamin A content is very high in liver in general, and cod liver oil provides much needed vitamin D as well. Both of these help in supporting healthy teeth and bones, and as an added benefit they also help boost the immune system. Parents used to give their kids a spoon full of Cod Liver Oil every day, and this is why. Turns out they were on to something. For those of you who struggle to get down the fishy taste, I highly recommend these chewables. My kids ask for them, and have no problem taking them, when I used to try and try with the oil and just could not get it in them And that's it, with implementing those 3 steps, we were able to reverse cavities in my 8 year old. There are other things you can add in too if this alone doesn't work, but for us, it really worked! Does anyone else have experience remineralizing your teeth naturally without dental procedures? I'd love to hear what worked for you!
*I received a product for free but all opinions are my own.
Speaking of the kids having allergies, this purifier really seems to help in reducing allergens in the air. With the Fall weather unfortunately also comes allergies, and allergens in the air get tracked into your house too. Not to mention dust, and mold that can also be lingering. My kids have been coughing less and their allergies seem more controlled when we're home. The air just feels cleaner. You can get the Winix brand purifiers online on their website here or also at Home Depot and Wayfair. The purifier has a smart sensor that constantly monitors the air quality (blue is good, yellow is fair, red is poor). There's also a Check Filter light to let you know when it's time to change the filter. It's very quiet when it's running, which in our house is important because with 3 little kids there's enough "background noise" going on. Another nice thing is, you only have to replace the filter once a year. It's not like some others where you're having to change them every couple of months. Also, the purifier covers up to 320 sq. feet. Overall, this is a really great air purifier, and with the $100 off deal going on there's no better time to get one.
I'd love to hear from you guys, has anyone else tried the Winix Air Purifiers before? I can just remember the excitement and fun we had around Christmas growing up, and it's so fun to see my kids now experiencing the same. Starting in December, we go on nightly rides to look for lights, drink hot cocoa and have Christmas movie nights, bake Christmas goodies for neighbors, decorate inside and out, and so much more. In fact I think I still have as much excitement about the season as when I was a kid!
