Airthereal's New 2021 Air Purifier Review

1/28/2021

**I was provided a product in exchange for my review, but all opinions are my own.
Airthereal has a new Air Purifier for 2021 with a medical grade filter and UV-C sanitizer. I reviewed one of their purifiers in the past (you can read about the APH2030C here).  They were so generous to allow me to review another one for you guys, the AGH380, and I am seriously in love!  It has such a sleek modern look that will go well with any decor, and I love how it uses UV-C sanitation as well as the medical grade filter, so you know germs will not be circulating.
Picture
As far as features go, the AGH380 has some exciting new ones not previously on other purifiers.  The filter is a medical grade HEPA filter that removes 99.97% of airborne particles. This is great if you have allergies, pets, dust, etc. The Pre-Filter traps large particles, pet hair and dust and the Carbon Filter eliminates odors and VOCs.

The UV-C Sterilization uses high energy rays to neutralize viruses and bacteria.  With 4 young kids (2 in school), this is great to help with the spread of airborne germs when one gets sick.  We have 3 sharing a room, so usually if one is sick and coughing, it easily spreads throughout the room and infects the other.  But with a UV-C light, the purifier can kill the germs as it passes through.

The PM2.5 sensor can measure particles 30-1000+ times smaller than a human hair.

This purifier has an Auto Mode that will adjust the fan speed based on your current air quality.  If the air quality gets worse, the fan speed goes up. If the air quality is good, it will lower the speed.  This is also nice to be able to know what the air quality is in your house at any given time.
Picture
Picture
The AGH380 can completely clean and recirculate the air in the room every 7-20 minutes depending on the size of the room.  I love the Air Quality Indicator. If the number shows 0-12, you have fresh clean air.  13-35 means it's moderately healthy.  Anything over 36 is unhealthy.  When we first plugged it in, ours was 12.  After some time of having it running it lowered to 4, which shows how well it worked at purifying the air.

The fan noise is not too loud, unlike some other purifiers we've had before. In fact at the lowest setting you can barely hear it! I also like that it has a child lock function, up to 24 hour timer, and filter replacement notification.  Speaking of filters, they are super easy to replace, and only need to be replaced every 6-8 months.
Picture
To read more about the new Air Purifier and get one for yourself, check them out here.  They also have ozone generators and other Air Purifier options available.  I would highly recommend this company for their high quality and affordable options for cleaner air for your home.  Especially right now during a pandemic, clean air is a must!

Vanicream for Eczema

1/26/2021

**This post contains affiliate links.
All 4 of my kids have struggled with eczema at some point, and my 6 month old is currently dealing with it.  I have tried every cream, lotion, ointment, probiotics out there and nothing was working.  I'd heard about Vanicream and saw it on Amazon for only around $13, so thought why not? It has been a night and day difference! I had to share it in case there's anyone else out there looking to help manage the flare ups without constantly having to turn to topical steroids.
Picture
Picture
When you put it on it's very creamy and thick, and almost sticky, but it very quickly absorbs into your skin.  My sons eczema was about 90% better in 2 days.  If you know anyone out there struggling with eczema please share this with them! I wish I had known about it 11 years ago with my first.

It's free of all the things most lotions have that can be irritating like dyes, fragrances, lanolin, parabens, botanical extracts, etc.  It's recommended by a lot of dermatologists for atopic dermatitis (eczema) and other skin conditions.

Check it out here, and read the reviews as well.  It has helped so many, and hopefully can help you too.

Picture

Winix QS Air Purifier with Bluetooth Speakers Review + Save $100

11/6/2018

*I received a product for free but all opinions are my own.
Picture
Winix is a company that makes high quality air purifiers, and after trying out the Winix QS Air Purifier, I am so impressed with how well it works.  And to top it off, right now for a limited time you can get the QS Air Purifier for $100 off the original price, making it only $249.99 with free shipping.  Trust me this is an amazing deal.  Not only are you getting an air purifier that eliminates 99.97% of  particles, allergens, and bacteria, but it also fits in with any decor and doubles as bluetooth speakers.

We have it set up in our playroom, where our kids (who have allergies and asthma) spend a lot of their time.  They have been loving "dance parties" and music playing in the background while they play.  I am loving the speaker function.  The sound quality is amazing.
Picture
Picture
Speaking of the kids having allergies, this purifier really seems to help in reducing allergens in the air. With the Fall weather unfortunately also comes allergies, and allergens in the air get tracked into your house too.  Not to mention dust, and mold that can also be lingering.  My kids have been coughing less and their allergies seem more controlled when we're home.  The air just feels cleaner.
Picture
You can get the Winix brand purifiers online on their website here or also at Home Depot and Wayfair.  The purifier has a smart sensor that constantly monitors the air quality (blue is good, yellow is fair, red is poor).  There's also a Check Filter light to let you know when it's time to change the filter.  It's very quiet when it's running, which in our house is important because with 3 little kids there's enough "background noise" going on.
Picture
Another nice thing is, you only have to replace the filter once a year.  It's not like some others where you're having to change them every couple of months.  Also, the purifier covers up to 320 sq. feet.  Overall, this is a really great air purifier, and with the $100 off deal going on there's no better time to get one.

I'd love to hear from you guys, has anyone else tried the Winix Air Purifiers before?  What has your experience been?

The holidays are seriously the BEST time to be a kid!  I can just remember the excitement and fun we had around Christmas growing up, and it's so fun to see my kids now experiencing the same.   Starting in December, we go on nightly rides to look for lights, drink hot cocoa and have Christmas movie nights, bake Christmas goodies for neighbors, decorate inside and out, and so much more.  In fact I think I still have as much excitement about the season as when I was a kid!

Gymboree has an adorable Holiday Collection to get your kids in the holiday spirit!  Check out some of the cute styles from the Girl Collection and Boy Collection below.  And get your kid's holiday clothes shopping knocked out in one spot with Free Shipping on orders over $50!
