Speaking of the kids having allergies, this purifier really seems to help in reducing allergens in the air. With the Fall weather unfortunately also comes allergies, and allergens in the air get tracked into your house too. Not to mention dust, and mold that can also be lingering. My kids have been coughing less and their allergies seem more controlled when we're home. The air just feels cleaner.
You can get the Winix brand purifiers online on their website here or also at Home Depot and Wayfair. The purifier has a smart sensor that constantly monitors the air quality (blue is good, yellow is fair, red is poor). There's also a Check Filter light to let you know when it's time to change the filter. It's very quiet when it's running, which in our house is important because with 3 little kids there's enough "background noise" going on.
Another nice thing is, you only have to replace the filter once a year. It's not like some others where you're having to change them every couple of months. Also, the purifier covers up to 320 sq. feet. Overall, this is a really great air purifier, and with the $100 off deal going on there's no better time to get one.
I'd love to hear from you guys, has anyone else tried the Winix Air Purifiers before? What has your experience been?

White with Style Teeth Whitening can whiten your teeth up to 5 to 7 shades in only 30 minutes. I love this kit because I have sensitive teeth and have never been able to use other whitening methods. Even whitening toothpaste makes my teeth so sensitive. But White with Style is specially formulated for sensitive teeth, and did not cause my teeth to be sensitive at all. I noticed a drastic change in color after the first 30 minute use. It comes in Cotton Candy or Mint flavors. Their products are Gluten free, Cruelty free and Vegan. This particular kit is also peroxide free. This is the same quality you would get (if not better) in a professional setting, so for the price you are getting an amazing deal. Plus, right now use coupon code mommyof2embracinglife to get almost 90% off! That means it's only $28 (normally $269)! Head here to get your kit and be on your way to whiter teeth.
As I was shopping online at Wal-Mart the other day, I was thinking, I should probably just be going to the store so I can use coupons and at least be saving a little bit more money. But with 3 young kids, who were all sick, it was much easier to shop online once they were in bed. Then I heard about Giving Assistant. Not only do they offer cash back when you shop online, but they offer coupons in addition to that. And now, I could completely justify all this online shopping I've been doing, which to be honest, is a majority of my shopping (except for groceries).
What is it?
Giving Assistant is a website where you can earn cash back on your online purchases, either to help you save money or you can chose to donate that money to your selected charity. What a great way to be charitable this coming holiday season, or to save on purchases you would normally be making anyway.
Where can you get cash back?
There are over 3,000 online stores to choose from to earn cash back, and they also offer high value coupon codes for over 6,000 brands. For example, shop here at Lowe's, get a percentage cash back (currently 4%) on your purchase, then you have the option to keep that money as savings or donate 1-100% of that. Groupon (currently 7% cash back) is a great place to get already discounted deals and then earn more back. I personally shop at Walmart a lot (currently 11% cash back) and now that I can earn money back on those purchases, I can use my cash back to put towards my next shopping trip (at my computer)!
How do I use it?
They have a browser extension, so remembering to go there first is not an issue. Making and/or donating money is automatic with the free extension. I've done cash back sites before, but would always forget to go there first, and so it was pointless. I would remember AFTER I had already checked out. But with this you get an alert at checkout. This extension takes away all the leg work on your part, as it reminds you before checking out. You can also go to the Giving Assistant website and search for the store you want, then click through to place your order.
How often can I use it?
Use it as often as you shop online! There's no limit to the amount of times or cash back you can get.
How much does it cost, and what's the catch?
There is absolutely no cost, membership is free, and there's no catch or sales pitch. Simply earn cash back as you shop online, as simple as that!
So, as your husband (or wife) sees all those packages arriving at your door, just remind them how much money you're saving this way (or donating). Plus you're saving them a trip to the store. Check out Giving Assistant, and get the extension on your browser. Trust me, you'll be glad you did!

Ok my low carb friends - if you want a good chocolate substitute- look no further! This Choc Zero Keto Bark that I've just discovered tastes AMAZING, and it has no sugar alcohols or artificial sweeteners! It is only 2-3g net carb per ounce, so you can have the whole bar as a treat, feel like your cheating, but still be on target for your day! Plus it melts nicely, so I like to add a bar to my morning bullet proof coffee for a nice mocha taste. It comes in Dark Chocolate Almond with Sea Salt and Milk Chocolate Hazelnut.
Has anyone else tried this delicious chocolate? See below for a breakdown of the ingredients/nutrition facts.
About this time every year, we start to have a big problem with mosquitos. And when you have young kids who want to play outside all the time, you know it's time to find a solution. We had Mosquito Hunters of Tampa Bay come out and spray our yard, and wow - it has made such a difference in the amount of mosquitos we have. The kids can actually go out and play and ride their bikes and not come in covered in bites. In the past, we have used products to spray our yard, but none have worked as effectively as Mosquito Hunters.
The nice thing is, you schedule them to come spray, and that's all you have to do. You don't even have to be home. Simply leave your gate opened so they can spray the back as well, and you're set. The treatments are guaranteed for 21 days, so you can schedule them to come every 21 days to keep things under control. It is so worth it to know disease carrying mosquitos won't be ruining your outdoor fun. Brandon, who came out to spray, was extremely polite and friendly and they got the whole yard done in under 20 minutes.
The products they use to spray are derived from plants, so they do not harm your plants. You and your pets should stay inside for 30 minutes, but then it's completely safe to go out once it's dry.
They have the best customer service of any other mosquito spraying company I've found. They will come out and re-treat in between your 21 day treatments if you are unhappy for any reason. No other company offers that. They offer services in Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties.
From now until the end of March, you can sign up for the Early Bird Promotion: get 8 treatments for just $468. Customers who switch from local competitors (Mosquito Squad and Mosquito Joe) save on average over $400 a year! You can purchase now and start treatments whenever you'd like. There are also low price monthly options available. Check out Mosquito Hunters here or give them a call at 1-813-609-8440 to "take back your yard"!

If you're looking to file your taxes this year in a simple and easy way, then I highly recommend using H&R Block. Not only can file from the comfort of your own home online, it's also very easy and free if you only need to submit a basic return! However, if you're one of those people that would rather speak with someone in person face to face, they have offices you can go to as well. This post, however, will be about my experience filing online.
Filing online on your own may seem like a daunting task, but when I say filing with H&R Block is easy, it truly is! They guide you and ask you questions, and you simply input the information you have. The then fill out the forms based on your responses and information. They also have the ability to import your W-2, skipping the need for you to even have to input your income information. It is truly a simple, easy, some may say even fun process. I like how I can see as I go what my refund is based on what I've entered.
Since I do write for a blog, our taxes are a bit more complex since I have self employment income. I chose H&R Block because I want to make sure I'm getting everything right when it comes to filing our taxes. I also used the Tax Pro Review Add On, which gave me the added assurance that everything is being verified that it is correct and that we got the max refund possible. Tax Pro Review℠ gives DIY clients the opportunity to have their completed return reviewed by a tax professional – check/sign/e-file return with a tax professional without going into a tax office. You get secure document upload and one-on-one communication. Tax returns are delivered to clients for review within three days, while competitor turnaround is three business days. All H&R Block tax pros receive training beyond the minimum standards to remain registered with the IRS. The add-on cost for this service is $49.99-89.99 based on the complexity of your tax return.
Also, they offer the option to have your payment (if there is any) deducted from your return, so essentially you pay no money out of pocket for the services. You can check your refund status online in real time. They can also do direct deposit so the refund is in your bank account in as short of a time as possible.
Overall, H&R Block was the best price and value I found for a DIY tax return, and I would highly recommend using them to get your taxes done quickly and easily this year.

NuLeaf Naturals provides high grade organic full spectrum CBD oil. They have 6 different sizes (see below) and strengths to fit your personal need. The best part - since it does not contain THC, it is legal in all 50 states.
I tried the 240 mg CBD oil. It has somewhat of an herbal/earthy taste, but not unpleasant. I could honestly feel my symptoms lessen within 20 minutes of taking it. With Lyme disease, I have constant muscle spasms, cramps, joint pain and stiffness, headaches, anxiety and insomnia. This oil is helping with all of these symptoms. I cannot recommend CBD oil high enough, and if you do try it you will find it's important to get it from a high quality/reputable site. There are definitely brands out there that are not of this quality.
The company was founded in 2014 and NuLeaf Naturals wellness products are derived from specially bred therapeutic hemp (Cannabis Sativa) plants grown on licensed farms in Colorado, USA. I love how all their products are lab tested, organic and have no additives, so you know the quality you are getting is good.
Some people complain they don't like the taste of CBD oil, but I don't find it bad. It's more of an earthy taste. I place the drops under my tongue for faster absorption. The taste is really not bad to me.
While the dosage can vary depending on the person, I started with 5 drops 2 times a day (5 in the morning and 5 at night before bed), and that has seemed to be the perfect amount for me. However it is advised to start slow to see how you personally react. Some people it seems to knock them out and others it gives them energy. It doesn't really do either of those to me, just mostly takes pain away (which was the goal!).
I highly recommend this brand, and if you want to give it a try, check them out here. Plus, all Mommy of 2 Embracing Life readers can use promo code MOMMY15 to get 15% off their order!
Has anyone else had any experience with CBD oil? I'd love to hear in the comments below!

CBD Oil has so many benefits, but the main reason I wanted to give it a try is for my chronic pain from muscle spasms/cramps that Lyme disease is giving me. I've been researching a lot about Cannabis, and have been so excited to try the CBD Oil from 4CornersCannabis. They offer a high quality Complete Spectrum CBD oil that is easy to take. From the first dose I took, I noticed after about 20-30 minutes a significant decrease in pain. I've read a lot of people say you need the THC as well, but this is not true, at least for me - the CBD oil really helps my muscle spasms especially. With 3 young kids, I found myself laying in bed on my heating pad every chance I had (during naps, right when they went to bed), whereas now, I'm actually able to do things when they're sleeping. My poor husband had been on dish washing duty for far too long. I now feel like I can do my part. This oil has already become life changing, and I hope it's just the beginning. It has also really helped with my sleep. I usually wake up quite a bit in the night, even with benadryl, but with this CBD oil I'm sleeping better WITHOUT the benadryl.
I like how this oil is Complete Spectrum which is better when ingesting the oil as it's extracted using Organic Ethanol. You can read more about the complete spectrum vs. full spectrum vs. isolated extractions here, but from my research I wanted to try a Complete Spectrum product, such as the one 4CornersCannabis offers as they are the most effective.
In addition to the Oral Tincture (the one with the blue label above), they also carry Vape Liquid, Pedigree (for animals), and a Salve for topical use.
If you suffer from chronic pain or sleep issues, I would highly recommend you try this CBD oil. It may not work for everyone, but I am having a very positive experience with it, and I know many others are as well. Plus, there are many other conditions it helps with as well. You can read about more of the benefits here.
If you'd like to give this CBD oil a try, you can order here. Plus, right now if you use promo code MOMMY10 you will get 10% off!
I'd love to know, has anyone else tried CBD oil? What has your experience been?
