*I received a product in exchange for my review, but all opinions are my own.  I have been wanting to try a weighted blanket for a while now, as I struggle with anxiety and insomnia. I got my Magic Weighted Blanket in the mail the other day, and immediately had to try it out. It was so relaxing to sit with it on while I read a book. But what surprised me the most was when I slept with it. I don't think I've slept that soundly in a long time. Usually I have mild anxiety in the evening when I'm trying to go to sleep, but I drifted off to sleep faster than ever. The Chenille is so soft and the weight of the blanket really does ease my anxiety somehow. It's also great for kids that struggle with anxiety or sleep issues. My 4 and 7 year old have been loving to come climb up in bed with me and "snuggle" with my blanket. I got the 42 x 72 so it's perfect for my half of the bed. (Think my husband is jealous and wishes it was larger) haha. The offer different fabric choices including soft chenille (which I LOVE!) minky, cotton, flannel and fleece.
It is seriously the softest blanket ever. It does get warm, but we like to crank up the AC at night anyway, so I don't see that being a problem.
